D-Summit Kids Fun Cup – Practical Information

We are looking forward to welcoming all registered athletes to this year's D-Summit Kids Fun Cup!

Schedule

• 08:30 – Registration opens

• 09:00 – 13:00 – Qualification Round

• 14:00 – Finals begin

• ~17:00 – End of the competition

Competition Format

Qualification Round

Each category will climb 4 qualification routes.

Athletes may make unlimited attempts during the qualification period. However, each attempt ends with a fall, and the climber must return to the ground before trying again. Working out the moves while hanging on the rope is not permitted.

Each route includes scoring zones, allowing athletes to earn points even if they do not reach the top.

Belaying

• U9 & U11: Belayed by D-Summit volunteers.

• U13 & U15: Athletes belay each other under supervision.

Finals

Every category will have one final route.

Finalists will have one attempt only, with all athletes being belayed by our volunteers.

Food & Drinks

A barbecue will be available throughout the day, including a vegetarian option. Soft drinks, water and coffee will also be available.

Important notice

The Seculux inspection has now been completed and the gym can reopen as normal.

All courses, training sessions and activities will take place as scheduled until the closure for the Kids FunCup.

Reminder: the gym will be closed from Saturday, June 20 at 1:00 PM until Sunday, June 28 inclusive for the organisation of the Kids FunCup.
